Official : Rossi in Mirante out

It has been confirmed on Sampdoria's official website that Parma's central defender Marco Rossi has joined on loan and Mirante has went in the opposite direction.

The statement says “U.C. Sampdoria have acquired the sporting rights of footballer Marco Rossi from Parma on a temporary basis with a right to buy a 50 per cent stake,” reads the statement.

“Meanwhile, the club communicates that the sporting rights of footballer Antonio Mirante have been handed over to Parma Football Club on a temporary basis.”

Rossi came through the youth ranks at Parma and impressed a lot last season, the likes of Milan were said to be chasing him last January.
