Sampdoria have set an asking price of around €15m for young striker Muaro Icardi after the Argentine turned down Sampdoria’s latest contract offer.
The club stated that Icardi’s future will be evaluated at the end of the season. They also said that he is valued at around €15m which may rise if he continues to score goals for the club.
Icardi has burst onto the scene this season, scoring 9 goals in 21 games for Sampdoria and had been linked with several moves away from the club during the January transfer window, including a €12m bid from Napoli which was turned down. It is believed that Inter are now top contenders to sign the young striker in the summer.
